Round Grove United Church UCC Welcomes All!Round Grove United Church WELCOMES you! Everyone is invited to share in our activities. We recognize all Christians as being part of the church - the Body of Christ. We expect everyone to continue to grow in their faith relationships with God based on their previous faith experiences. Thus, everyone can remain true to her or his beliefs, while being united in Worship, Education and Service. We celebrate our unity through our diversity.

Children are always welcome in Worship! We do have a Nursery available for the loving care of babies and young children. The service can be heard in the Nursery.

We have Worship Bags available for children to use during the Worship Service.

Children, who are 3 years old through 3rd graders, are invited to leave the service for our quality Children's Choir Club  for the older of those children and the Cherub Singers  for the younger of those children following the Children's Sermon. Children, who are in the 4th through 6th grades, are invited to leave the service following the Children's Sermon on the First and Third Sundays of the month during the school year, for Choir Partners. The Children's Choirs return to their parents in the sanctuary during the Closing Hymn.

All persons, who believe in and follow Jesus Christ, are invited to share in the sacrament of Holy Communion  (the Lord's Supper). Communion is usually celebrated during the 1st and 3rd Sundays of each month. The bread and cup are distributed in the pews and they are eaten or drunk by everyone at the same time.

Everyone is invited to sing the hymns and the responses. They are printed in the hymnbooks found in the pew rack and the selection numbers are printed in the Worship Bulletin on the right hand side.

Special Worship Services include: Maundy Thursday evening service (the Thursday before Easter), and Easter Sunrise Service in the Original Historic Building, and the Christmas Eve Service.

We celebrate infant dedication and baptism, adult baptism, and the Rite of Confirmation. There is no special class to become a member of Round Grove United Church and we accept full membership or associate memberships. Confirmation classes for youth are generally scheduled during their 7th grade year providing there are at least three eligible students. The classes are taught by Pastor Wells. Members, Friends and Guests are always welcome to attend Sunday School, Worship, and Fellowship activities!

Round Grove United Church UCC teams with Christian Community Action for Kids Eat Free Summer ProgramRound Grove United Church UCC teams with Christian Community Action for Kids Eat Free Summer ProgramRound Grove United Church provides outreach to the community through Christian Community Action. Members and friends gather together 1 evening a week to prepare lunches and 2 mornings a week through the summer to prepare and deliver lunches for the "Kids Eat Free" program. Then they deliver the lunches at a local mobile home park and church. The Board of Christian Education sponsors the "Jeans Drive" for CCA during the early part of the summer. In July and August, the congregation participates in the CCA Back to School "Apple Tree" program. During the Holiday season, we accept donations of non-perishable food items for CCA Holiday Food Baskets. The Congregation also supports the CCA Giving Tree program at Christmas. Currently, the Missions and Outreach Group, is sponsoring "May We Give"  and collecting undergarments for children (toddlers through youths) for CCA. A box is located in the Narthex for donations. Throughout the year members and friends sign up to provide financial support for the CCA Food Pantry Shelf project.

The Congregation began on Epiphany (January 6) 1901 and celebrated its 100th anniversary in 2001 with celebrations over several months. The Congregation celebrated the 105th anniversary in September 2006 with the culmination on September 24 with a church provided meal and a mortgage burning ceremony. The Historical Original Building on the south side of Round Grove Road is still used by the congregation for Easter Sunrise Services and is used for many weddings a year. The Round Grove Cemetery is behind the Historical Original Building.
