Text Box: Special Happenings Orson “Bud” Harman passed away on Nov. 7th. His funeral was held at Mulkey-Mason Funeral home in Lewisville on Friday, Nov. 9th with burial in South Bend, Indiana on Nov. 11th. Surviving Bud locally are his wife of 60+ years, Ethel “Babe” Harman; his daughter and son-in-law, Debbie and David Russo; his son, Dr. Bruce Harman; grandchildren, Jodi Navarro and Michael Russo; and great-grandchildren, Haley and Brooke Navarro. He is also survived by two other children, 5 other grandchildren and 5 other great-grandchildren. Bud had been a very active participant of Round Grove since becoming a member over 20 years ago. Let us keep Babe and his family in our prayers. Wilma Crawford is in Baylor-All Saints Hospital in Ft. Worth. Let us keep her in our prayers for a quick recovery from surgery. The Board of Trustees requests that you turn in your Faith-Promise Commitment card soon. Until December 16th, we will be collecting Canned Yams and Evaporated Milk for the Christian Community Action Holiday Food Baskets. The CCA Angel Tree is located in the Narthex. Please take one or more tags, purchase the gift(s) for needy children in the area, and bring the gift to the altar during the Children’s Musical Performance of “Celebrate Jesus” on Dec. 9th at 5:30 p.m. The Lewisville Bennigan’s will give a 20% discount for each ticket when a Bulletin from Round Grove United Church is presented on a Sunday. The Lewisville El Chico will give a 20% discount for each ticket when a Bulletin from Round Grove United Church is presented on a Sunday. The Lewisville Cotton Patch Cafe will give a 10% discount for each ticket when a Bulletin from Round Grove United Church is presented on a Sunday. The Lewisville It’s Greek to Me restaurant is offering a 20% discount to members and friends of Round Grove United Church. The Round Grove Shelf at the Christian Community Action Food Pantry in December is being sponsored by the Men’s Fellowship, the Women’s Fellowship, the Belcher family in memory of Viola Compton, Teresa Morrow and Dee Shuttlesworth. Boxes of Offering Envelopes for 2008 are on the table in the Narthex. Please check your name of the list when you pick up your envelopes. Calendars for 2008 to provide Flowers, Bulletins, Newsletters and the CCA Pantry Shelf are on the table in the Narthex. Flowers are $18 and are obtained by the church. The Flowers can be taken home after Worship. Worship Bulletins are $6.50 per Sunday. The Newsletters are $60. Jennifer Wells Clay will give a 15% discount to church members who enroll in her Music Steps early childhood music classes. She is renting the Choir Room on an hourly basis for these classes.
