Text Box: Special Happenings Ruth Combs passed away on Dec. 14th. Pastor Wells officiated at the funeral held in Colleyville on Dec. 19th. Let us keep her daughter, Karen Goebel, her grandson, Michael Goebel, and all other family members in our prayers at this time. We want to welcome our new members: Jon Hope, Erika Hope-Barker and her daughter, Nichole Barker. They joined during the Worship service on Jan. 27th. Nichole was also baptized during the Worship service. Welcome! Wilma Crawford has returned home after being at Heartland in Bedford. Let us continue to keep her in our prayers. The Lewisville Bennigan’s will give a 20% discount for each ticket when a Bulletin from Round Grove United Church is presented on a Sunday. The Lewisville El Chico will give a 20% discount for each ticket when a Bulletin from Round Grove United Church is presented on a Sunday. The Lewisville Cotton Patch Cafe will give a 10% discount for each ticket when a Bulletin from Round Grove United Church is presented on a Sunday. The Lewisville It’s Greek to Me restaurant is offering a 20% discount to members and friends of Round Grove United Church. The Round Grove Shelf at the Christian Community Action Food Pantry in February is being sponsored by Teresa Morrow, Dee Shuttlesworth, and the Romeos. There are still two $20 slots remaining. The 2007 Giving Statements are on the table in the Narthex. The Insert with the List of Officers of the Congregation and the Church Boards is included. You will find it on the other side of the Policy for Conveying Concerns, which is distributed especially after new Church Leaders are elected. Please pick up your Box of Offering Envelopes for 2008 from the table in the Narthex and check your name of the list when you pick up your envelopes. Calendars for 2008 to provide Flowers, Bulletins, Newsletters and the CCA Pantry Shelf are on the table in the Narthex. Flowers are $18 and are obtained by the church. The Flowers can be taken home after Worship. All dates to provide at least one arrangement of Flowers are available except Feb. 10th; Mar. 23rd; June 15th; July 20th; Aug 10th & 17th; and Nov. 30th through Dec. 31st. Worship Bulletins are $6.50 per Sunday. All dates to provide Bulletins are available except Mar. 9th; Apr. 13th; May 18th; June 8th & 29th; July 13th & 20th; Aug 10th; and Dec. 28th. The Newsletters are $60. All months are available. There are 5 slots per month for the CCA Pantry Shelf. Each slot is $20. Four slots are still available in all months. Jennifer Wells Clay will give a 15% discount to church members who enroll in her Music Steps early childhood music classes. She is renting the Choir Room on an hourly basis for these classes.
