On Oct. 28th, Tom and Katie Currin were also Welcomed into Membership! Welcome! Member, Rob Lovick, and his wife, Dena, welcomed their daughter, Peyton, on August 30th! Congratulations! George Keil was recently hospitalized and had surgery. Dorothy Todd is currently hospitalized. Let us keep them both in our prayers for speedy recoveries! Member, Jenifer Grobowsky, daughter of Paula and Rod Grobowsky, married Brad Rihn in San Antonio on Sep. 8th. Congratulations! Until November 18th, we will be collecting Canned Yams and Evaporated Milk for the Christian Community Action Holiday Food Baskets. The Lewisville Bennigan’s will give a 20% discount for each ticket when a Bulletin from Round Grove United Church is presented on a Sunday. The Lewisville El Chico will give a 20% discount for each ticket when a Bulletin from Round Grove United Church is presented on a Sunday. The Lewisville Cotton Patch Cafe will give a 10% discount for each ticket when a Bulletin from Round Grove United Church is presented on a Sunday. The Lewisville It’s Greek to Me restaurant is offering a 20% discount to members and friends of Round Grove United Church. Royal Storage Center at Business 121 and Main Street in Lewisville is giving Christian Community Action 50% of their storage fee when an annual contract is signed through 2007. The Round Grove Shelf at the Christian Community Action Food Pantry in November is being sponsored by the Men’s Fellowship, the Women’s Fellowship, the Belcher family in memory of Viola Compton and Teresa Morrow. Calendars to provide Flowers, Bulletins, Newsletters and the CCA Pantry Shelf are on the table in the Narthex. Flowers are $18 and are obtained by the church. The Flowers can be taken home after Worship. Worship Bulletins are $6.50 per Sunday. The Newsletters are $60. There are some CCA Pantry Shelf slots available at $20 per slot. Jennifer Wells Clay will give a 15% discount to church members who enroll in her Music Steps early childhood music classes. She is renting the Choir Room on an hourly basis for these classes. Remember to participate in the Kroger Share Card, and the Tom Thumb Reward Card (our Tom Thumb number is 5943) programs to support our Music Ministry and the Women’s Fellowship Scholarship Fund. Poinsettias will be available for the Christmas holidays at $8 each. These plants will decorate the sanctuary.
