Text Box: Time to Gear Up and Move Forward!

It’s time to get in gear for a great Sunday School year
and the return of regular activities plus special programs!
I urge church families to enroll their children and youth as
well as invite other children and youth to join our Sunday
School program. We are very fortunate to have a
marvelous Sunday School Staff under the direction of our
Christian Education Assistant, Mary Quick. Plan to be
present as the new Sunday School year kicks off on
	Rally Day, August 24th.
Our Music Ministry is also gearing up! The Chancel Choir will be back as
part of our Worship Celebrations beginning this Sunday, August 3rd. Young Ambassadors will be auditioning interested singers in grades 4th through 8th
for their school year program. The Intergenerational Choir offers a four week
choir opportunity for children and adults to work together on an anthem for Sunday, October 19th. Be the first to sign up by completing the form included in this newsletter.
In August, I am sharing a sermon series titled, “Respond to Jesus!” The
sermon title and Scripture for each Sunday is:
Aug. 3rd - “Do You Eat at His Table?” based on Matthew 14:13-21.
Aug. 10th - “Jesus Saves!” based on Matthew 14:22-33.
Aug. 17th - “Is Your Faith Great?” based on Matthew 15:10-28.
Aug. 24th - “Here’s Jesus!” based on Matthew 16:13-20.
Aug. 31st - “Where’s the Beef?” based on Matthew 16:21-28.
As we are currently enduring the hottest days of the summer (hopefully), I encourage you to join in our Worship Celebrations, Sunday School, Mission
Activities, and Ministries in our Cool building! Come feel the warmth of God’s
love and our Cool air, as we respond to Jesus! - Pastor
