C . C . The Round Grove Rambler Text Box: Lent is a special time for Christians. It is when we focus on preparing for our celebration of Easter. This year, I will preach a Lenten Sermon Series titled, “Why Did Jesus Do That?” The Lenten Series includes: V Sun., Mar. 1st, “Face the Wilderness?” V Sun., Mar. 8th, “Teach He Would Suffer?” Text Box: V Sun., Mar. 15th, “Drive Them Out of the Temple?” Sun., Mar. 29th, “Commit to His Hour of Suffering?” This Lent, Round Grove United Church, United Church of Christ, will be part of an Ecumenical Midweek Lenten Program of Light Suppers and Prayer Services. There will be four Thursdays when at 6 p.m. a Light Supper is served and a 7 p.m. Prayer Service is held at a different local church. The schedule is: March 5th - First Presbyterian in LV. Text Box: March 12th - First Christian in Lewisville. March 26th - Flower Mound United Meth. April 2nd - Round Grove United Church The April 2nd Service will focus on Jesus’ Crucifixion with the Chancel Choir singing.
