THIS IS A TIME TO CELEBRATE!

 

                                                         This is a time to celebrate!  God has

                                                       been blessing us with many guests and

                                                       new members!  We will be receiving

                                                       another group of new members in the

                                                       near future!  Thanksgiving is

approaching quickly, as well as, the high point of our Consecrating Stewards Program!

     This Sunday, November 4th, is All Saints Sunday and the conclusion of the 50th Anniversary Celebration for the United Church of Christ.  We will celebrate Holy Communion and receive the Witnessing Steward Testimony of Laura Martinez, a member of the Board of Trustees.

      November 11th is Consecration and Thanksgiving Sunday!  We will be blessed by having Rev. Douglas Anders, our Conference Minister, as our Guest Steward.  Rev. Anders will preach and lead us through our Faith - Promise Process.  Our Consecrating Stewards Program is designed to aid us in growing stronger in and deepening our relationships with God.  Plan to stay for our Free Catered Consecrating Stewards’ Lunch after the Worship Service on November 11th.  Following our delicious meal, we will return to the Sanctuary for a brief musical program by our Young Ambassadors.

      Sunday, November 25th, is Christ the King Sunday!  We will have our special Intergenerational Thanksgiving Sunday School prior to the service.  The Worship Service will include the remembrance of those who have died during the past twelve months.

      We have a multitude of fellowship events coming up in the next few months through the Women’s Fellowship and our Fellowship Activities!  We also have our special activities of bringing food for the CCA      Thanksgiving Food Baskets and gifts for the CCA Angel Tree Program.
