The Round Grove Rambler Text Box: We have entered the Church Season of Advent -- the time of preparation for our Christmas Celebration ! Because the message of Christmas is so important, this is the time to share Jesus Christ’s invitation and welcome with all people. Round Grove United Church UCC is focusing on sharing that invitation. This week we are mailing out over 5,000 “Bringing Christmas Home” post cards to invite new residents and our Text Box: neighbors to “Come home to the Christmas which celebrates God’s love for the whole world.” Also, we are writing inactive members and friends to invite them to “come home” as we celebrate “The Word became flesh and lived among us” during this Christmas season. I encourage you to invite family, friends, neighbors, and your coworkers to come share in our Worship and other Christmas related activities. For example, at 5:30 p.m. Text Box: on Sunday, Dec. 14th, we will share in our “The Word Was Made Flesh” Christmas Music Program and Reception. Also, at 6:30 p.m. on Wed., Dec. 24th, we will celebrate our Christmas Eve Candlelight Altar Communion Celebration.
