Text Box: Sunday School News - - - This month
in the Lower and Upper Elementary School
Sunday School Classes the readings from
Matthew invite us to celebrate God’s coming in
unexpected places and people and encourage us
all to discover what is being revealed about God, about ourselves, and about our own faith journeys. Focusing on these stories today reminds us that we, too, are on a journey - seeking godly signs, scrutinizing and avoiding false promises and power, and searching for the one who brings joy, peace, hope and justice. This month the Youth Class (7th-12th grades) will begin a 13-week study of the Gospel of Luke. This journey will highlight pivotal points in the Scripture, lifting up the Bible’s most significant stories, themes, events and people. The January readings begin with Luke 1:26-45.
