Text Box: Sunday School News - - - Family Sunday School starts June 8th and continues through August 17th. We meet in the Fellowship Hall from 9 - 10:10 a.m. each Sunday. All ages and stages welcome (children should be accompanied by an adult family member)! Family Summer Sunday School is for adults who want to do Bible study and activities with children; it is for children who love to do things with adults; and it is for teens who want to be part of the group, even though they might not admit it! Family Summer Sunday School is about people - people who want to contribute to each other’s growth in faith. Together we will be “Learning God's Stories Together”.  Families and individuals are still needed to volunteer to lead on the following dates: June 15th, July 13th & 27th and Aug. 3rd and 10th. Contact Mary Quick & let her know which Sunday you would like to lead.  She will provide you with the lesson plan, supplies and support! The CE Board is recruiting teachers, substitutes and helpers for ages 2 through High School for the 2008-2009 school year. If you are interested in joining the Sunday School staff, or would like to look at the curriculum, please contact Mary Quick. Attendance Challenge: Congratulations to the Upper Elementary class for winning the May Attendance Challenge! Adult Bible Study Class: Pastor Wells leads this Bible class held at 9:35 a.m. in the Narthex each Sunday. Rally Day: The Kick-off for the 2008-2009 Sunday School year will begin on August 24th! During Worship we will present Sunday School students with Perfect Attendance (0-5 absences) and Outstanding Attendance (6-10 absences) awards. If your child was sick or participating in another Worship service, please let Mary know so she can count those absences as excused. Bibles will also be presented to incoming Third graders by the Women’s Fellowship. After Opening Assembly that day, new Candlelighters (3rd grade and up) will have a brief training. Donations Needed: Model magic, white cardstock and Polaroid film. Please place these supplies in the box in the church office.
