Text Box: Sunday School News - - - The last day of regular Sunday School for the school year will be Sunday, June 1st. Teacher Appreciation: During the Worship Service on May 18th, those persons who have taught, helped or substituted in Sunday School since Rally Day will be honored and recognized. After the Worship service there will be a Teacher Appreciation Luncheon for those who have served as Youth Sponsors, teachers, helpers and subs during this past school year. Please take a moment or two to let your child’s teacher or your Adult Sunday School teacher know how much they are appreciated! Please contact Mary Quick with any questions about the luncheon. The CE Board is recruiting teachers, substitutes and helpers for ages 2 through High School for the 2008-2009 school year. If you are interested in joining the Sunday School staff, or would like to look at the curriculum, please contact Mary Quick. Attendance Challenge: Congratulations to the Youth Sunday School class forwinning the April Attendance Challenge! Adult Bible Study Class: Pastor Wells leads this Bible class held at 9:35 a.m. in the Narthex each Sunday. Mid-week Spiritual Refresher: This will continue through May and then resume in the Fall. Family Sunday School: Family Sunday School is about all ages learning together, being receptive & open to learning with others, regardless of age.  Learning together is one of the most rewarding things you will do in our congregation.  It builds community and challenges people in intergenerational groups to explore the Bible story & decide together how they can live out the story in day-to-day life. Learning God's Stories Together curriculum will be used.  These lessons guide all ages in Bible study, activities with and for children, and encourages different generations to be part of a group.  Family Sunday School is about people - people who want to contribute to each other's growth in faith. Families and individuals are still needed to volunteer to Lead a Sunday during the summer for Family Sunday School. Contact Mary Quick & let her know which Sunday you would like to lead.  She will provide you with the lesson plan, supplies and support! Family Sunday School meets from 9-10:15 a.m. in the Fellowship Hall beginning June 8th. Donations Needed: Model magic, white cardstock and Polaroid film.
