Text Box: Youth in Action: The Youth in Action will present a special Introit during Worship on Feb. 3rd. Their next meeting will be on Sunday, Feb. 17th at 5:00 p.m. In January the Youth planned the Youth Garden and went to Main Event for a bowling event. Head into the Youth Room on a Sunday morning to see the Youth Quilt on display! Please keep an eye out for email and mail about the upcoming National Youth Event to be held at the University of Tennessee in Knoxville from July 24th-28th. This event, open to all Youth ages 13-18, is held every four years. The theme for 2008 is “Living the Life” and has been a very positive, moving and uplifting experience for those who have attended. Contact Youth Minister, Rev. Barry Johnston or sponsor, Karol Whittaker, for more information on this amazing group! Junior Youth: The 3rd-6th grade Junior Youth will meet after Worship on Sunday, February 10th, and go to Karol Whittaker’s for hot dogs and guitar hero! Contact Karol if you need more information. Parents of this group who would like to host an event should contact Mary Quick Looking Ahead: The Annual Easter Egg Hunt, sponsored by the CE Board, will be held on March 9th immediately after Worship. The Youth in Action will be helping with this event.
