Text Box: Youth in Action: The Youth in Action will announce their March meetings soon. Please keep an eye out for email and mail about the upcoming National Youth Event to be held at the University of Tennessee in Knoxville from July 24th-28th. This event, open to Youth ages 13-18, is held every four years. The theme for 2008 is “Living the Life” and has been a very positive, moving and uplifting experience for those who have attended. Initial information about the NYE can be found at www.ucc.org. Contact Pastor Wells for information on the National Youth Event. Junior Youth: Trish Morehead will sponsor the Jr. Youth event in March. Please keep an eye out on your mail or email for the date and information. Parents of this group who would like to host an event should contact Mary Quick. Easter Activities: Immediately after the March 9th Worship service, the CE Board will host an Easter Egg hunt for children ages 2 yrs. - 6th gr.  Youth class volunteers will assist CE members in supervising the hunt.  Children will be picked up from their choir class, or from the sanctuary after worship and led to the CE Building for the hunt.  Parents should send an Easter basket/bag with their child.  If your child has a food allergy, please let Mary Quick know.  Afterwards children will be brought to the Fellowship Hall to enjoy the monthly meal with their parents. Summer Camp: It’s never too early to start planning for Summer Church Camp! Brochures, posters and registrations for Slumber Falls summer camps and retreats are in the Narthex. To celebrate their 50th anniversary, Slumber Falls is offering diverse camps other than just Summer Church Camps for students. Possibilities include a Scrapbook camp for women over 18; camps for all ages; Day Camps; Music, Art & Drama Camp; Grandparent/Child Camp; Music Camp; and Generations (Family) Camp. You can begin registration immediately! Pam Olson, member of the Camp Council for Slumber Falls, can answer many of your questions. She will also be directing the “Springs Alive” camp for ages 7-8 June 29th-July2nd. For more information go to: www.slumberfalls.com
