Text Box: Youth in Action: The Youth will meet on Sunday, Nov. 11th, in the Youth Room. In October, this group sent out 150 Christmas cards with phone cards enclosed to persons in the military who are fighting overseas. Contact Youth Minister, Rev. Barry Johnston for more information! Junior Youth: There were 13 who attended the Young Chef’s Jr. Youth event on Oct. 21st! The next activity will be after Worship on December 16th in the Youth Room. This 3rd-6th grade group will make Gingerbread houses and will be led by Carol Howell and Yvonne Warren. The cost will be $10. Please give the event fee to Carol Howell and contact her if you have any questions. Future Combined Youth and Jr. Youth Activity: Karol Whittaker is planning a combined Youth in Action and Junior Youth activity on a date when most of the participants can attend. They are planning to go to DFW Airport to Welcome Home the Troops that arrive from Iraq or Afghanistan. Others in the congregation are encouraged and invited to participate as well. Please let Youth in Action sponsor, Karol Whittaker, know if you would like to go so she can find a date that works for everyone. Reminder: All minors who attend events away from Round Grove Church without a parent or guardian present, MUST have a current permission form and insurance information on file. Forms are available in the church office.
