THE MISSIONS AND OUTREACH PROGRAM The Missions Group meets each Sunday at 9:25 a.m. in the Fellowship Hall. MAY WE GIVE PLEASE: May undergarment drive for CCA/ Rainbow Room. We will be collecting undergarment items during the month of May for Christian Community Action (CCA) and Denton County Rainbow Room. You will find boxes in the Narthex to drop off your donated items. Items needed: Underwear, socks, and T-shirts for Girls and Boys, sizes from tots to youths. JUNE PROJECTS KIDS EAT FREE SUMMER PROJECT: Kids Eat Free Summer Project will begin June 9th and will extend through August 22nd. We will be providing free lunches for low income children in the Lewisville area on Tuesdays and Thursdays along with free books and activities. Please look for the sign up sheet in the Narthex if you would like to help make sandwiches, purchase foods, help with activities, and hand out food. SCRUBS PROJECT: The Mission Outreach Program is still working hard for the children of Denton County with our Scrubs project. Please look for our new date in May or June for an opportunity to fellowship while making blankets for the project. Come and join us in service! GRANT PROJECT: A grant was provided to Graham Ridgard last year for his handy man business. We have received many great reviews from members of the congregation who have hired him for different projects, and the community about his reliable hard work. UP AND COMING: Please look for three new bulletin boards located in the Fellowship Hall with great volunteer opportunities, mission programs, and list of items of needs for the community.
